Instant Command LLC ("Instant Command", "we", "us", or "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website, dashboards, and software agents (together, the "Service").

Our Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and for business entities. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create or manage an account, we collect:

• Name (or business name)
• Email address
• Account credentials (passwords are stored using salted, hashed methods)

1.2 Payment and Billing Information

We use third-party payment processors (such as Stripe) to handle payment card and subscription billing information. We do not store your full payment card details on our own servers. We may store limited billing-related information (such as Stripe customer IDs, subscription status, and invoice history) for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.

1.3 Usage and Device Connection Information

When you access our website or dashboard, or when your devices connect to our Service, we may collect:

• IP address (held in memory and infrastructure logs while a connection is active, but not stored in our application database)
• Browser type and version
• Basic device or client information needed to establish secure connections
• Timestamps of requests or connections

We currently do not collect or store device hostnames or operating system versions as part of device profiles.

1.4 Command and PowerShell Output Logs

When you use Instant Command to run commands on your devices, we collect and store:

• Records of commands issued through the Service (e.g., PowerShell commands and other instruction types)
• Associated metadata such as timestamps and command status
• Command output returned by your devices (including PowerShell output) where configured

These logs may incidentally contain personal or sensitive data depending on what you choose to run and what your scripts output. We do not collect keystrokes, continuous screen content, or personal files unless you explicitly transmit or reference them through commands or file operations that you initiate.

1.5 Diagnostic and Crash Logs

To maintain and improve the stability of the Service, we collect diagnostic logs, including:

• Error messages and stack traces
• Service failures or crash reports
• Technical details about the part of the system that experienced an issue
• File names or file paths only when they are part of an error or diagnostic message

We do not use diagnostic logging to browse or inspect the contents of your personal files, and where possible we design logs to avoid including unnecessary file details.

1.6 Future Telemetry (Planned)

In future versions of the Service, we may collect additional non-content telemetry from your devices, such as:

• CPU or resource usage metrics
• Online/offline status and heartbeat (ping) signals
• Aggregated error counts and performance metrics

If we add or materially expand telemetry collection, we will update this Privacy Policy before those changes take effect.

1.7 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

• Essential session cookies that keep you signed in and secure while you navigate the dashboard.

We also use Google Analytics, which may set its own cookies or use similar technologies to measure and analyze usage of our website. See the Analytics section below for more information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service
• To authenticate you and secure access to your account
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To record, display, and audit commands executed through the Service
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated, non-identifying information about how users navigate and interact with our website. Google Analytics may collect:

4. How We Share Your Information

  • Email and notification providers (e.g., Zoho/ZeptoMail)
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g., DigitalOcean)
  • Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics)
  These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
• Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to continued protection consistent with this Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

• Account and Profile Data: Retained while your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your account data, subject to the exceptions below.
• Command and PowerShell Output Logs: Retained indefinitely while your account remains active, to support auditing, security investigations, and debugging at your request. When you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize these logs within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
• Diagnostic and Crash Logs: Retained for as long as needed to diagnose and improve the Service, and may be stored in an aggregated or anonymized form thereafter.
• Billing and Payment Records: We retain invoicing and billing history as required by law (for example, for tax and accounting purposes), even if you request deletion of your account.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. Subject to applicable law, these may include:

• The right to access the personal data we hold about you
• The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• The right to request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal and legitimate business exceptions)
• The right to object to or restrict certain processing
• The right to withdraw consent to marketing communications

6.1 Account Deletion

To delete your account, please contact us at [email protected]. When you request deletion, we will:

• Disable your account and remove access to the Service
• Delete or anonymize your account profile data and associated command logs, except where we must retain certain data for legal, security, or billing purposes
• Retain necessary billing and invoicing records as required by applicable law

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. These include, among other things:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for data transmitted between your browser, devices, and our servers
• Use of public/private key cryptography, JWTs, and other mechanisms to authenticate devices and secure communication channels
• Storage of passwords using salted hashing techniques
• Access controls and logging to help protect against unauthorized access

However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and limiting access to your devices and systems that connect to Instant Command.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and is designed primarily for business and professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. International Users

Our infrastructure is currently operated in the United States (and/or other locations as disclosed by our hosting providers). If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice (such as by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email). Your continued use of the Service after the updated Policy becomes effective indicates your acceptance of the changes.
