Pairing is when a new machine becomes a trusted part of your fleet. Install Instant Command on the device, confirm a short pairing code in your browser, and Instant Command takes care of the rest.
Initiate Pairing.
Go to the Device Manager in the dashboard and press "Add Device". This will generate a 6-digit code to input at instantcommand.com/pair on your target deivce.
Approve Device.
After entering the 6-digit code, verify the pending device on the dashboard and press "approve" if correct. Upon approval Instant Command will download on target device.
Launch the software.
Run the installer on the target device. After installation, press "I've Installed Instant Command" on the pairing page.
Complete.
The dashboard should indicate pairing was successful and show the newly connected device.
You can remove devices at any time from the dashboard.
